Knotting
The performance “Knotting” explores the transition between two- and three-dimensional reference systems and the dynamics of materials, such as nylon and Dyneema rope lings, Haribo slings, shoe laces, clay, and wool. Highlighting the materials qualities and sweet spots, the audience participates in hands-on experiments, including drawing shoelace knots, unraveling knitted sweaters, and twirling elastic ropes. The event concludes with a presentation of glazed ceramics, allowing visitors to physically engage with these objects and connect their real-world experiences to the concepts and activities presented during the performance.
